Alexander MacDonald

(Highland District) Born in Lochaber, 1801, the son of Alexander MacDonald; arrived in Valladolid from Lismore; left, unordained, 1822, and returned to teach in Lismore, where ordained a priest, 1824, and left (1825 ?); at Moidart, 1829-38, and at Glenmoriston, 1838-41; went to Nova Scotia, 1842, and became vicar general in the diocese of Arichat, 1852; died at Mabou, Cape Breton Island, 21st May 1865.
